The reasons I love shopping the AGTA section at both Tucson and Vegas are twofold: face-to-face time with vendors I’ve known for decades, as well as meeting the new ones. And of course, choosing the most extraordinary gems with full knowledge that I’m supporting fellow AGTA members whose standards of ethics and quality match my own.
I like Tucson because it’s really focused on gemstones and Tucson is a global marketplace for colored stones. I can really focus on developing relationships with old and new vendors, and I like the AGTA’s policy on full disclosure, so I feel confident buying from their members.
